he course is easy and fast to run and has led to new course records for men and women in 2011. The new course record was set by the Kenyan runner Wilson Kipsang (2:03:42), also Mamitu Daska run to a new course record with a time of (2:21:59). The first part of the course leads the runners through the city of Frankfurt with its fascinating skyline, then to the district of Sachsenhausen, towards the residential area of Höchst und back along the Mainzer Landstraße through the city centre and the trade fair tower into the ‘Festhalle’ with its red carpet.
